2.1. What information is reported for the hits?
contains PDB ID of matched structure (with hyperlink to PDB), number of matched residues, RMSD, interface with Rasmol showing the structure, structural alignment in text format and account of matched SSE
2.2. Measure(s) for goodness-of-fit and statistical significance?
number of matched residues and RMSD
2.3. Structure-based sequence alignment?
yes, in text format. A possibility to visualize superimposed structures
2.4. PDB files with superimposed structures?
yes, more than five (limit for Vast)

3.1. Are there parameters the user can set to optimise the results?
minimum number of matched SSE ,minimum number of matched residues, switch on/off directionality and conserve neighboring SSE. You can also choose maximum number shown results

three subsets of PDB (1000%, 95% and 25% identity)
3.3. How often are the databases updated?
twice a year
