Glyoxalase I
Alex Cameron
An overview of the glyoxalase I structure showing the
RUBIK
sections which have been generated.
Each section is marked by a purple ball which acts as a link in your VRML browser.
To select individual sections directly click on one of the links in the list below.
You can also see vrml versions of the figures fig1a, fig1b, fig1c,fig3a, fig5b in the paper entitled "Crystal structure of human glyoxalase I - evidence for gene duplication and domain swapping" which has been submitted for publication.
The map sections corresponding to the benzyl glutathione inhibitor is 186, that to the zinc ion, 185, and that to some of the residues in the interdomain region 416.
This structure is refined using 4-fold non-crystallographic symmetry
to a resolution of 2.2 Å, with a final R-factor 21.1% (Rfree 23.4%).
