Njupeskär is the highest waterfall in Sweden (125 m, of which 95 m in one go).
It is situated in Fulufjället nature reserve, is easy to reach, and has excellent
facilities (including a cafe and "Naturum", a small exhibition building). It is a bit
of a tourist attraction, but well worth a visit nonetheless. From the parking area, a
25 min walk leads to the foot of the waterfall. A 25 min walk along a different trail
leads back to the parking area.
Where ?
From road 70 north of Särna, turn off and follow the signs to Njupeskär
(about 25 km on good roads).
