This image was made as an example of how to morph images together.

Briefly, I cut Elvis' head from an archive picture, pasted it over a copy of the Alwyn picture, and then fed it and the original Alwyn picture into the Xmorph, which is available as a plug-in to The GIMP. I then selected a few anchor points that should correspond in each picture, and waited for Xmorph/The GIMP to make the layered animation for me, which I then saved as a GIF file.
