Protein-protein binding assays, BIAcore

 

 

In this block of the course you will learn how to study kinetics and thermodynamics of protein-protein binding using BIAcore technology (developed in Uppsala!)

 

You will have to make a short report of your studies (see Computer lab instructions)

 

The entire block will take place at BMC!!!!!!!!!

10:00-12:00 Wet lab: Study of the Caf1M-Caf1 chaperone-capsular subunit binding using Biacore X100 (Dee, Anton) BMC lab B9 (first floor, Dept. Mol. Biol.)

Group 1 makes solutions for morning measurements, Group 2 makes solutions for night measurements, Group 3 observes results (example)

12:00-14:00 Lunch

14:00-16:00 Continue working on the scientific report
